Burglars have broken into unlocked homes and a car in Broadland.
In January homes in Sprowston and Lingwood were targeted and this morning a sat nav was taken from a car in Rackheath.
On Thursday January 5 a burglar walked into a home in Coughtrey Close, Sprowston, and stole a laptop from the lounge while the occupant was in another room. The front door had been left unlocked.
Between 6.30pm and 7pm on Friday January 27 another laptop was stolen from an unlocked home in Station Road, Lingwood,
And yesterday morning at 2.30 a Tom Tom Sat Nav was taken from a black Renault Megane parked in a driveway on Lonsdale Road, Rackheath. The vehicle had been left unlocked.
Police are reminding people to keep their homes and cars locked.
Inspector Dave Cuff, from Norfolk police, said: “We are investigating these offences but I would urge residents to take responsibility for securing their own property to prevent this type of offence from occurring.
“It only takes opportunist thieves a few seconds to peer into a vehicle or into your living room and be tempted to steal if expensive items are left on display.”
