TWO men are due to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates Court this morning (Tuesday, July 17), charged with criminal damage and theft following an incident at a holiday park in Kessingland on Sunday afternoon (July 15).

Sean Jordan, 24, of Stone Road, Cobholm, Great Yarmouth, and Brendan Burt, 30, of Admiralty Road in Great Yarmouth, were arrested after police were called about 5.45pm on Sunday to reports that two men had been breaking into a games machine on the site at Beach Road.

A police spokesman said: “The two were taken into custody where they were interviewed by officers and subsequently charged with criminal damage and theft. Sean Jordan has also been charged with going equipped for theft while Brendan Burt has also been charged with possession of cannabis and another separate count of criminal damage in relation to an incident at a shop in Great Yarmouth on July 15.”

Both are now due to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates Court this morning.
