Two men arrested on suspicion of wounding after man suffers head injuries in Lowestoft

A man was taken to hospital with head injuries after trouble flared in an altercation in Lowestoft.
The 47-year-old man was walking through Kensington Gardens, at Kensington Road, with his young son and their pet dogs about 7pm last Friday (December 20), when trouble ensued.
Police are seeking witnesses following the altercation, which left the man with head injuries.
Several members of the public went to the 47-year-old’s aid and he was taken to hospital for a cut to his head.
Two men – a 21-year-old and a 23-year-old – have been arrested on suspicion of wounding/GBH and they were interviewed before being bailed to return to police on February 6 next year.
