Two men arrested after a man was found with serious injuries in Costessey have been released on police bail.
Two people arrested after a man was found with serious injuries in Costessey have been released on police bail.
Police were called to East Hills Road at approximately 4.30am on Saturday to reports of a fight. There, a man in his 60s was found was serious but non life-threatening head and arm injuries. He was taken by ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment but has now been discharged.
Two males, aged 42 and 16, were arrested close to the scene on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm a short time later and have since been released on bail, until the beginning of September, pending further inquiries.
All parties are known to one another and police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
