Police have appealed for help in the hunt to find car thieves who struck five times in one night in three Forest Heath communities.

Forest Heath police officers are asking for witnesses to two more thefts from cars on the night of January 9, having already issued a plea for help in relation to three incidents last week.

The new incidents took place in Red Lodge.

The first saw one pair of Ray Ban and one pair of Prada sunglasses and a gym holdall taken from an insecure Volkswagen Passat in Scots Pine Court.

A Ford Mondeo was then targeted in Rosehip Avenue, with an iPhone 5 and items of clothing stolen.

Last week’s appeal was in relation to another theft in Scots Pine Court, one in Highlands, Lakenheath and another in Bridge Farm Close, Mildenhall.

Anyone with information is asked to call PC Luke Heffer at Mildenhall Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
