Two men arrested after tools stolen from a van in Lowestoft

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle after tools and a satellite navigation system were stolen from a Ford Transit van parked in Lowestoft.

Items including a Makita drill, planer, impact driver, skill saw and jigsaw were taken in the theft which happened in Long Road overnight on Sunday, March 9 and Monday, March 10.

Some of the tools have been recovered, with the two men – a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old, both from Lowestoft – arrested last Thursday. they have both been bailed to return to police on April 24 to allow further inquiries to be carried out.
