Two men have been arrested in connection with drug offences.

Police stopped a vehicle on Hardwick Road, on the outskirts of King’s Lynn, on the afternoon of Monday, October 2.

They arrested two men on suspicion of possession of cannabis and suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.

The men, aged 24 and 25-years-old and both from the London area, are currently in police custody whilst enquiries continue.

The operation was carried out by officers working on Operation Gravity, Norfolk police’s crackdown on so-called county lines crime.

Detectives are targeting dealers who travel to Norfolk from London and other cities to ply their trade.

Since its launch last December, Gravity has seen around 200 arrests and Class A drugs worth tens of thousands seized across the county, along with large quantities of cash and weapons.
