Three men charged with drugs offences in Lowestoft

THREE men are due to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates Court this morning (Tuesday, February 5) charged with drugs offences.
Mark Donoghue, 34, of Rodney Road in Great Yarmouth, Jamie Donoghue, 21, of Barkis Road in Great Yarmouth and Richard Collis, 33, of Stedman Terrace in Reydon, have all been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis.
Mark Donoghue has also been charged with acquiring, using or possessing criminal property – namely £2,195 in cash – and possession of cannabis with intent to supply, while Richard Collis has also been charged with possession of cannabis with intent to supply, possession of cannabis, and five counts relating to the possession or transfer of criminal property.
Mark Donoghue and Richard Collis were arrested by police in Whapload Road, Lowestoft on the afternoon of Friday, April 13 last year after a vehicle was searched and a quantity of cannabis recovered. Jamie Donoghue was arrested in October as inquiries progressed.
A police spokesman said: “All three were charged last month and bailed to appear at court this morning.”
A fourth man – Nicky Collis, 32, of Stedman Terrace in Reydon – is also due to appear at court today charged with obstructing a police officer in the execution of their duty in connection with this investigation.
