Three people have been arrested and charged after a gold ring was stolen from a jewellers in King’s Lynn.

Two women and a man were arrested on Saturday, February 23.

The gold and cobalt ring, worth around £300, was taken from Ernest Jones on Norfolk Street at lunchtime.

Marcela Anghel, 30, Baronita Sava, 19 and Ion Anghel, 43, all from Third Avenue, Luton have been charged with the theft.

They have been bailed to appear at King’s Lynn Magistrates Court on Wednesday, March 13. They have conditions not to enter Norfolk until that date.

This comes after another jewellery theft in Tower Street, King’s Lynn, on Monday, February 18. The police are not linking the two crimes but are still appealing for any information regarding the Tower Street theft. Anyone with any information regarding the Tower Street theft is asked to contact PC Sarah Chandler at King’s Lynn police station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
