Three jailed for Great Yarmouth assault

PUBLISHED: 13:45 04 March 2014 | UPDATED: 14:40 04 March 2014

In an article published yesterday afternoon we gave the impression three Great Yarmouth men jailed for an assault in the town were bouncers at the Fallen Angels club in Marine Parade.

However, while Matthew Prady, 33, of Ladbrooke Road, Agbar Shirin, 32, of Southtown Road, and Mauro De Oliveira, 28, of North Market Road, were all licensed door supervisors, they were not working at Fallen Angels.

Appearing at Norwich Crown Court the men admitted assault on September 1 last year. Prady was jailed for ten months, Shirin for 12 months and De Oliveira for eight months. They were all ordered to pay a £100 victim surcharge. Their door supervision licences have been revoked.

We are sorry for the mistake and apologise to Fallen Angels for the error.
