Thieves have stolen a Mercedes worth around £30,000 from the driveway of a Taverham home.

The thieves are thought to have gained access to the kitchen of the home, in Firethorn Close, through a cat-flap and stolen the keys for the black Mercedes AMG C63 estate, pictured.

The car was stolen between 9.30pm on Wednesday and 4am on Thursday.

Police are now appealing for information about the stolen car, which carries the registration VK58 VBA.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area around the times stated or has information concerning the whereabouts of the car.
