Diesel worth £10,000 has been stolen from a garage near Potter Heigham.

Police are appealing for witnesses after offenders stole approximately 6,500 litres of diesel from a garage on the A149 High Road at Repps With Bastwick between 8pm last Thursday and 6.30am last Friday.

T/Superintendent Roger Wiltshire, district superintendent for Great Yarmouth, says: “This crime would have necessitated the use of a substantial container vehicle.

“We would like to remind members of the public and fuel retailers to remain vigilant and to immediately report any suspicious vehicles or activity to police.”
