Mobile phones, a stereo and satellite navigation systems were stolen when 12 vans were broken into at neighbouring Norwich business premises last week.

Thieves cut through a fence to enter the Mattressman yard in Avian Way off Salhouse Road between 11.40pm on July 30 and 12.30am on July 31. The windows of six vans were smashed and property was taken.

Meanwhile, at about 3am on July 31, a further six vehicles were broken into in the neighbouring Sapphire Business Park.

Police believe the incidents are linked.
