POLICE are appealing for information after a thief stole several hundred pounds worth of skin care products from a Boots store.

The incident happened in Market Place, Halesworth, around 11.30am on Monday. The thief - described as a white man, at least 6ft tall, possibly in his 40s, wearing a flat cap and green jacket - stole a number of No 7 skin serums.

He is thought to have driven away in a dirty, light coloured estate car with a registration number ending something similar to NIC or NUR.
