A 50-year-old woman from Thetford has been sentenced in court after she threw a piece of brick at a neighbour’s window.
Stephanie Whatling, of Gloucester Way, admitted a charge of attempted criminal damage at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
The incident took place on August 18 when Whatling threw a number of items, including pieces of brick, through the window of another house on her own street.
She was given a one year conditional discahrge and ordered to pay £45 costs.
Sgt Lance Ogbourne of the Breckland Operational Partnership Team said: “This is a pleasing outcome for the victim and the police and I hope it demonstrates that this type of crime and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.”
