Suffolk police have launched an operation against burglars

A 17-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged with disorderly behaviour and with obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty following an incident in a Lowestoft park.
An off-duty officer was in the park in Kensington Gardens on Sunday, August 26 when he heard a disturbance at the boating lake. He intervened and arrested the 17-year-old, from Lowestoft.
The teenager was subsequently charged and is now due to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates Court this afternoon (Tuesday, October 9).
Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a garden pond today.
