A teenager today denied firearms offences when he appeared at Norwich Crown Court.

Abdul Bailey, 19, of Station Road, Great Ryburgh, denied possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of a prohibited firearm and possession of ammunition on January 6, this year.

It followed an incident at an address on Mattishall Road, East Tuddenham.

Judge Stephen Holt remanded Bailey in custody and his trial is due on May 30.

Bailey, who appeared in the dock wearing a grey sweatshirt, was represented by barrister Matthew McNiff at the short hearing.
