A teenager has been charged with assaulting a police officer at a North Walsham funfair.

Daniel Murphy, 18, of Rosewood, North Walsham, has also been charged with threatening behavior and two counts of resisting a police officer.

It relates to a public order incident at the funfair in Memorial Park shortly after 10pm on Friday, June 23.

Murphy will appear at Norwich magistrates’ court on Friday, July 7.
