Teenager attacked in attempted robbery in Norwich city centre

A man was pinned against a car in an attempted robbery outside a Norwich guest house.

The 18-year-old man was attacked this morning at around 1am on Lower Clarence Road in the city centre near to the Tudor House guest house.

An man, aged in his late 20s, pushed the victim, and pinned him against the car.

He then searched his pockets asking him if he had any money.

The victim was then hit around the head and the offender searched his pockets before fleeing the scene.

Police are looking for man described as five foot, seven inches tall, wearing a dark grey hooded top and black mittens or socks over his hands with yellow tips to them.

•Anyone who witnessed the attempted robbery or has knowledge of it should contact DC Keith Linstead at Bethel Street police station CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
