Teenager attacked by gang of men on Prince of Wales Road in Norwich

A teenager was attacked by a gang in Norwich as he made his way to the train station in the city.

The incident happened between 3.50am and 4.30am on Saturday as the victim, a man in his late teens, walked towards the train station along Prince of Wales Road.

When he reached the triangular traffic island, near to the junction with Eastbourne Place, he was approached from behind by a number of men and punched before having his wallet stolen. The suspects fled the scene towards Rose Lane.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning it.
