Staff catch man with 10 stolen phones after Yellowcard gig at Waterfront in Norwich

A 28-year-old man has been arrested following a series of phone thefts at a live music venue in Norwich city centre last night.

Police were called to the Waterfront, in King Street, at about 11pm after several people had reported their phones stolen. American rock band Yellowcard had been performing at the venue.

A man suspected of being in possession of stolen property was detained at the scene by door supervisors before staff alerted police.

When officers arrived the man was searched and found in possession of 10 phones.

The man was arrested and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where he remains.
