Six people are in custody after police were called to Outwell in response to concerns about suspicious activity.

Officers were called at about 5.40pm today following reports a group of people walking along the A1101 Wisbech Road in Outwell, who were approaching members of the public asking for assistance.

A search was carried out in the area and five men and one woman were detained and are being held in police custody at King’s Lynn.
