Police have been out in the Thelveton area of Norfolk this morning to carry out further searches for missing Clacton builder Nigel Kedar.

Mr Kedar was last seen on Tuesday, April 4 at around 9.30am walking through Dickleburgh towards Ipswich, after staying with a friend in Norwich following a night out.

His family has described his disappearance as “out of character” and pleaded with him to get in touch or return home.

They described the 52-year-old as a “dedicated” father, and hoped he would return home for Father’s Day to be with his 14-year-old son.

Mr Kedar’s sister Diana Mays is due to appear on Crimewatch on June 20 to appeal for more information from the public.

As part of efforts by police to find him, search teams were out along the A140 in Thelveton alongside Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue from 9.30am this morning.

He is described as being white, 5ft 11 tall, of a large build and has short hair. He was wearing dark coloured trousers with a lighter coloured long sleeved shirt.
