Sat navs stolen from cars in Lowestoft

Police are seeking witnesses after two satellite navigation systems were stolen from cars parked in Aspinall Close and Southwell Road in Lowestoft.

A sat nav and a bluetooth cable were stolen after a Vauxhall Astra was broken into and searched in Aspinall Close between 10.45pm on Sunday, April 27 and 9.30am on Monday, April 28.

The second car was broken into in Southwell Road about 1.25am on Wednesday, April 30 and a Garmin sat nav was stolen. The owner had heard a noise and looked out to see a light inside her car. She banged on the window and the person ran off.

Following the incidents officers are reminding drivers not to leave valuables in vehicles and to ensure that unattended cars and vans are left locked and secured.
