Sat nav stolen from delivery vehicle parked in Great Yarmouth

A satellite navigation system has been stolen from a vehicle on a delivery round in Great Yarmouth.

Police have appealed for witnesses after a Tom Tom, along with its charger and cradle, was taken from a delivery vehicle parked in York Road near the junction with St Peter’s Plain in Yarmouth around 4.30pm on Monday.

The driver left the vehicle unattended for a few moments. When he returned he smelt cigarette smoke and thought someone had been in the vehicle, then noticed the theft.

Someone standing nearby had seen a male wearing a baseball cap inside the vehicle who then rode away ona bike.

Anyone who saw the person or the theft, is asked to call PC Richard Noon at Great Yarmouth on 101.
