I want to complain about this content:

The abolition of a 17 person police authority whose impartiality had never been questioned and it's replacement with a one person political position leaves the police force open to being run as a political animal, rather than to serve and protect the public. This was a poorly conceived idea and id ten percent is the turnout and the 'winning' candidate has 51% of the vote, then they are being elected with the blessing of about 5% of the electorate. Hardly a resounding success. If this is repeated nationally, the government should listen to the voters and the police authority should be brought back.
