I want to complain about this content:

I cast my vote to oppose the creeping privatisation of the police.However,the government has been inconsistent in providing referenda as to whether cities wanted elected mayors but not a referendum as to whether we wanted Police Commissioners.The pathetic turnout,even worse when the high number of spoilt ballots are counted,indicates had we been offered a referendum on Police Commissioners the outcome would have been a resounding "No".At least the low turnouts for such an important role undermine the government criticism of trade union ballots where action is determined on a low turnout(but usually higher than the PCC election turnout).
