I want to complain about this content:

  • Not the point nrg. If the crackpot Christian was not inciting others to break the law by doing harm then he should have been allowed to have his say. I realise there is the question of NCC being allowed to dictate what goes on on their patch but their action was that of enforcing something that wasn't quite the law. Examples recently include stopping some chaps from Morris dancing because it offended on person who complained to the police-who instead of telling them to get a grip , stopped the Morris dancers in mid jingle. Then we had the art work in the Norwich shop the other year which worked around some religious iconography and drew a complaint that it offended and in hopped the plod with both feet saying remove said item. Stopping free speech is as sure a way to let bad things happen by default as allowing extreme views to be expressed. When people are prevented from speaking out in open debate on political, social and religious matters, from ridiculing and protesting then they either explode in revolution or cower while atrocities are perpetrated.
