Police investigating an attack on a guide dog in Norwich have released a CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

The guide dog was being walked by its woman owner on King Street at around 11.30am on Tuesday when it was attacked by what is being described as a Staffordshire Bull Terrier type dog.

The woman managed to release her guide dog and it was taken to a vet for treatment.

Officers are keen to trace the female owner of the offending dog, which is not believed to have been on a lead at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information should call PC Michael Pearce at Bethel Street Police Station on 101.
