Detectives in Norwich are appealing for information following a burglary in Bowthorpe Road in Earlham, near to the junction with Gypsy Lane.

Between 4.45pm and 9.30pm on Sunday, September 30 a house was broken into by forcing a rear door and a handbag in the hallway was emptied onto the sofa and a bright pink Nike purse containing cards and photographs was stolen.

Officers are investigating links with a second burglary which happened in nearby Fieldview Road between Friday, September 28 and Monday, October 1 in Fieldview Road, when a window of a bungalow was forced and a gold ring was stolen from inside.
