Police cordoned off a recreational area last night after reports of an explosion.
Two home-made devices were said to have been put in grassland off Churchman Road, off Salhouse Road, Norwich.
One witness said one was a can and another a bottle, although only one of the devices had gone off.
He said he heard a bang and called the police shortly before 8pm.
He said: “I had my home cinema system on and I heard it over that. I checked outside and saw some smoke over the trees.”
Naturists are to be banned from a nationally-renowned Norfolk beach following complaints about anti-social behaviour committed in the area.
