Police arrest three teenage boys in connection with stabbing in Great Yarmouth

Police are today carrying out forensic work in Great Yarmouth following a stabbing.

Police said a fight happened in Blackfriars’ Road at 9.15pm, which left a 30-year-old man with cuts to his chest.

Armed police officers were sent to the scene, as there were reports of a weapon being involved.

The victim suffered only superficial injuries and has been discharged from hospital.

The area where the victim was found, was this morning cordoned off so that police could carry out a forensic examination of the site.

Detectives from Great Yarmouth CID are appealing for witnesses to the assault.

Three boys in their mid to late teens, all from the Great Yarmouth area, have been arrested in connection with this incident and released on police bail pending further inquiries.
