Two hotels, in Blakeney and West Runton, have been subject to thefts with the person staying in the venue and then leaving without paying for services.

There have also been three thefts of charity collection boxes from shops in Hunstanton, Gorleston and Great Yarmouth.

All of these incidents happened during December 2012.

Police now wish to speak to Alexander Carne Hewitt, 56, of no fixed abode. He has links to the Gorleston area but is known to travel the country.

Officers want to speak to this man, as he may be able to assist with the inquiry, or to anyone who may have any information about this theft.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Jason Pegden at Wells police station, or any other North Norfolk officers on 101 with information, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
