POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a woman who has gone missing from Lowestoft.
Fifty-five-year-old Vera Raynor was reported missing after callers to her flat in The Hollies found it to be empty on Thursday (September 13).
A police spokesman said: “It has since been established she was last seen leaving her home at noon on Friday, September 7 carrying two large bags. “Police are concerned for Vera’s welfare and want to hear from anyone who has information on her whereabouts.”
Vera is described as white, of large build, 5ft 3ins tall with short mousey brown hair. She was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and black trousers.
The spokesman added: “Vera is originally from the Czech Republic and speaks with a Czech accent. She has been known to attempt to travel back to Europe using public transport in Norwich and London.”
● Anyone who has seen Vera should contact Lowestoft police on 101.
Terrorism returned to the streets of London today as two suspected Muslim fanatics butchered a man in broad daylight in the name of “Allah”.
