The teenager was walking along the road, close to the former Jeld Wen factory, about 1.40pm on Sunday, December 22, when she noticed a car go past her, heading towards Oulton Broad before turning around and coming back towards her.

The car pulled up alongside her and the man driving opened his window and asked her a question. The 17-year-old felt uncomfortable by the approach and continued walking. The car then did a U-turn and headed back towards Oulton Broad.

While there may be an innocent explanation for the incident, police need to trace the man, who is described as white with a tanned complexion, in his 40s to 50s, with curly brown hair under a beanie-style hat.

Officers are asking him or anyone with information about who he is to come forward. If you can help please call PC 266 Neasham at Lowestoft police on 101.
