Police appeal launched after begging incident in Lowestoft car park

Police are seeking witnesses after a 25-year-old woman was approached and asked for money in an incident in a car park at Bridge Road, Oulton Broad about 2.40pm on Friday (April 18).

The young woman was approached by a man and asked for money. When she refused he became abusive towards her.

Officers are asking anyone who saw the incident to contact PC Mark Sargeant at Lowestoft police on 101. Officers are also urging residents and shoppers to report any begging incidents to officers by calling 101.
