A 17-year-old boy was assaulted as he walked through Fakenham.
He was in Highfield Road between 3.15pm and 3.45pm on Saturday when another male cycled past and grabbed his headphones. The boy pushed the cyclist off and picked up his headphones and iPod.
The cyclist returned several minutes later and elbowed the victim in the face causing him to fall over. The cyclist left in the direction of Greenway Lane.
The cyclist was 6ft tall, with a shaved head, right eyebrow pierced with a silver piercing and was wearing a silver watch, a grey tracksuit with a white writing motif diagonally across it and he had his hood up. The BMX bike is described as silver or grey.
Contact PC Stuart Austin on 101.
Supporters of Scottish champions Celtic are in Norwich ahead of the Adam Drury testimonial game tonight.

Sounds like the perpetrator was actually a chav thug on a bicycle, not a cyclist. It's rather like describing a 16 year old on a moped as a "biker". We do have some standards on two wheels you know.

What a good idea, then we can breathe clean air again. Thanks for suggesting it.

That's like banning cars because some cars are used for crime.

There are so many thugs commiting crimes whilst wearing hooded jackets that the time may come when the hoods will have to be banned.
