A boat has been stolen from Hempton, near Fakenham.

It was taken from a wooded area on Knights Common, close to the river, sometime between 4pm on Wednesday, June 11 and 7am the next day.

The boat is a Jeanneau Aquapeche, dark green and brown in colour, approximately 9ft to 10ft long and 5ft to 6ft wide.

It is a heavy duty boat and police believe three to four people would have been required to lift it.

Anyone with information should contact PC Harry Bishop at Fakenham Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
