Police are appealing for witnesses after a 4x4 vehicle collided with a pedestrian and failed to stop.

The incident happened at 7.45pm on Friday, when a 26-year-old man was crossing the road at Larkman Lane.

The vehicle, described as a blue 4x4, was travelling down Earlham Green Lane towards Bowthorpe, when it turned into Larkman Lane and collided with the man.

The vehicle failed to stop and left the scene. The man was left with injuries to his head and hip.
