Police appeal after burglar smashes door and steals TV and jewellery in Great Yarmouth

A house in St Nicholas Terrace, off Northgate Street in Great Yarmouth, was ransacked after a burglar smashed a door to get inside.

The thief, who gained entry between 11.45am and 4.30pm on Friday searched the property before stealing a 16-inch flat screen TV and jewellery.

Items taken include the victim’s mother’s wedding ring, a child’s silver signet ring, chain and man’s silver and onyx signet ring.

Police believe the burglar carried the TV away inside a Sainsbury’s carrier bag.
