King’s Lynn police warn graffiti is a crime

Some call it street art. Police are warning it’s a crime.

Officers in King’s Lynn say they are investigating increased reports in and around the town centre. They are warning that offenders may be proescuted.

Twitter users had mixed views on the issue. One replied: “The old part of Hillington Square has been tagged several times since Christmas, I’m the postman there, it’s an awful thing to see wherever it is, I hope they are caught and prosecuted asap.”

But another added: “Cool art though maybe council could think about allocating a space just for this #encouragetalent.”
