Police chiefs to visit Lowestoft

The Chief Constable of Suffolk police Douglas Paxton and the county’s Police and Crime Commissioner Tim Passmore will be in Lowestoft on Friday.
Mr Paxton and Mr Passmore will setting up base in a mobile police station and will be available for members of the public to speak about any issues they have with policing and crime.
The mobile police station will by the Britten Centre and be open between 10am and 3pm.
Officers from the local safer neighbourhood team, crime reduction officers and representatives from Suffolk Safekey will also be present.
People will also be able to take away a new home safety guide which has been produced by the police and supported by Mr Passmore.
Friday’s visit is part of a county wide tour by Mr Paxton and Mr Passmore.
Mr Paxton said: “This is the second of this year’s Chief and PCC on Tour events. We hope to see lots of people in Lowestoft.
“I would encourage all to come along to speak with us, as well as the local team.”
Mr Passmore said: “Having direct contact with the people of Suffolk that I represent is extremely important to me.
