Norfolk police chiefs will be quizzed by members of the public about recent events in Cromer at a meeting next week.

Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Lorne Green will be holding a special police accountability forum on Wednesday, September 6 at 5.30pm at Cromer Parish Hall in Church Street.

Mr Green said: “I take seriously my responsibility to ensure an efficient and effective police force and to hold the Chief Constable to account for the policing service received by our communities.

“It is also my duty to ensure that the views and concerns of the Norfolk community are clearly and fully represented to the constabulary.”

Members of the public will be able to put their policing questions to the PCC and Chief Constable Simon Bailey. And there will be an update on the review into policing in Cromer over the weekend of August 18/20, when the town was in lock-down.
