Four people were injured after a fight broke out at a caravan park in Hopton.

One victim suffered a broken nose and another was left with a cut and swelling to the head following the brawl, that broke out in the early hours of this morning.

Police were called to the Hopton Holiday Village by staff at around 12.10am following reports more than 10 people were involved in the on-site scuffle.

Two people, a man and a woman both aged in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of affray and taken into custody at Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre where they will be questioned later this morning.

Four people, including both men and women, suffered injuries during the incident and were taken to the James Paget University Hospital for treatment.

A police spokeswoman said: “This incident appears to relate to a dispute between two groups of people and we will be carrying out enquiries today with a view to making further arrests.”
