Police arrest man after woman verbally abused in Dereham

A man in his 40s has been arrested after a woman was verbally abused in Dereham town centre.

Police are appealing for information after the incident on Friday, April 18 at about 3pm outside the NatWest bank in the Market Place when the woman in her 40s was said to have been verbally abused and threatened.

The man has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident and witnesses are urged to contact PC Kyle Gray at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre on 101.
