Police appeal for help from Norfolk public in hunt for man wanted over burglaries

Detectives have asked for the public’s help in tracking down a man wanted in connection with a string of burglaries.

Norfolk police issued this picture of Robert Fury Horton as part of a probe into burglaries in Scotland and in Norwich’s Golden Triangle.

A home in Caernarvon Road was burgled sometime overnight on Friday, October 5. Police said a door was left insecure and a burglar stole cash, jewellery and a laptop.

The want to speak to Mr Horton, who is from Clydebank in Scotland about that crime. He is wanted in connection with other burglaries in Scotland.

He is white, 6ft 1ins, slim, with greying receding hair.

Police urged the public not to approach him, but said anyone who knows where he is should call them on 101 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
