Police in Norwich are appealing for witnesses after the driver of a van was abusive towards a pedestrian.
It happened between 2.50pm and 3pm on Monday, August 25, near Riverside when the victim, a 23-year-old woman, crossed the road heading towards Morrisons.
The victim walked in front of a van, which was queueing in traffic at the time, when the driver revved the engine before driving towards her.
The woman questioned the driver who is described as white, aged in his 40s, of large build with grey hair, before being verbally abused.
Investigating officer, PC Hollie Fisher, said: 'The road was very busy with traffic at the time of the incident and I'd been keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed it. The woman was left shocked and very upset by what happened.'
Witnesses should call PC Fisher at Bethel Street Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
