Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist caused 'extensive damage' to a car windscreen.
The car driver was travelling away from the city centre along Newmarket Road, between the ring road junction and the dual carriageway when the motorcyclist braked sharply in front of the car.
The motorcyclist dismounted, approached the car and hit the windscreen. It happened at about 8.45pm on Sunday, June 8.
The motorcycle was a dark coloured tourer with high handlebars. The rider was a white man, of large build, aged between 40 and 50, wearing all black leathers and a black helmet.
Anyone with information should contact PC Aaron Parker on 101.
