Police appeal after boy in Norwich is hit with plastic pellet

Police are appealing for witnesses after an 11 year-old boy was hit on the shin with a plastic pellet in Norwich.

A group of four boys, aged between 11 and 15 years old, were in Falcon Road West at 7pm this evening when they saw the driver of a passing vehicle with a red plastic looking gun pointing out of the window.

One of the boys was stung on the shin with a plastic pellet. The boy received no lasting injury and no medical attention was required.

The vehicle believed to be involved was a blue Peugeot 106. The driver is described as 17-20 years old, tanned, with short, dark brown hair and stubble.

There were also two male passengers in the car, which headed in the direction of Salhouse Road following the incident.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or anyone with further information.
