Football supporters will see “firm, friendly and fair” policing on derby day later this month.

Turnstiles and stadium bars will be open from 10.45am, with kick-off at 12.15 for the Ipswich game on the August Bank Holiday Saturday.

There will also be planned rail engineering work during the bank holiday weekend.

A special match-day rail service for fans travelling to and from Norwich will be added. Those planning to leave Ipswich by train after the match should not be affected.

Access to Portman Road will be restricted. Entrance to the stadium for away fans and Sir Alf Ramsey Stand tickets will be from the Portman Road/ Princes Street junction.

Entrance to all other parts of the stadium will be via the Sir Alf Ramsey Way/ Handford Road end of Portman Road.

Parking at the Cattle Market will be reduced.
